Ó

Korea's DJ Max series of rhythm games are known for their great tracks and uncompromising difficulty. If you're used to importing the game for your musical fix, you'll be glad to know that you won't have to any longer, as DJ Max Fever has been slated for a North American release.
PM Studios announced the news earlier, saying that Pentavision's DJ Max Fever would hit stateside. DJ Max Fever is reported to be a mix of the DJ Max Portable and DJ Max 2 and will come with a ton of content, as noted by IGN:
The title will pack in more than 100 songs for you to tap through; a Freestyle mode that's activated by performing a perfect mix; goal-based contests called Extreme challenges; five difficulty levels...; Network Battle Mode; and a collection gallery to house the music videos, soundtracks, and images you unlock.
Expect the game to hit stores on November 11. Till thjen, you may want to practice on any import copies you have.

O snap rhythm games in north america? Could this take over Guitar Hero and Patapon?
The DJ MAX series is a great one, both on PC and PSP, and, in my opinion, DJ MAX Portable 2 is the best music game there is on PSP: challenging, varied but eventually musically and stylistically rewarding. I imported both DJ MAX titles there are on PSP and showed it to friends who directly got hooked to their style and gameplay. So I'll definitely import this "new" version as soon as it gets released (partly because of the songs I wished were featured on both versions).
I wish I could have imported the previous two, but all international copies I could find were sold-out. I had to settle for "demoing" it.
The only thing I didn't like was how they bleep some naughty lyrics on one song. Seriously, it's a game about music. Either don't censor the lyrics or don't include the song!
If it wasn't for the fact that I've already spent my gaming budget for this year, I'd be picking this up. Maybe I can get my family to get it for me for X-mas.
it'd better not go the way of Lumines and Dance Dance Revolution. Original titles > Britney Spears.
I hope they don't repeat any of the old content..."reported to be a mix of 1 and 2" scares me, because the songs add up to roughly 100.
whats the point, the korean version is already in english -_-
