Dissida: Final Fanasy - Image 1

On top of the English debut trailer for Dissidia: Final Fantasy, this bit is yet another stepping stone launching us oh-so-closer to the game's eventual release across North America and Europe. The English website for the game was finally been opened a few days ago.

The site first launched back in January, but then it only showed Cosmos and Chaos, allowing you to tilt the needle back and forth on a scale. Boring stuff, I know - a bit of a mind tease too, since I've been waiting impatiently for the site to fully open.

Now, you can check out videos, character profiles, and whatnot. The most interesting thing, however, is that Square Enix is now allowing pre-orders via the usual online retailers. (Well, duh, of course it's the first section of the site I clicked through!)

Here's something even better: those online retailers they've linked to on their official site have dates. Yes, it's a projected release date for Dissidia: Final Fantasy! The weird thing is all three online stores show different dates. Safe to say, we can expect this brawling baby to hit end of August or early September!
Since Square Enix has done the liberty of linking to these sites in their official page for the game, you'd think they would have made sure that Amazon, Gamestop, and Best Buy had their release info correct, right? Well then there you go. We can call it tentative - just to be on the safe side - but it's pretty much official!

For the record, the previous rumor - which was blasted by Square Enix - turns out to be (tentatively, at least) right on the money!

To view the Dissidia website, head to the via link. To file for a pre-order, check out the Buy linke below for Amazon.
