it also brought sadness to my heart! darn recession affecting our portable games too! sniff sniff i just wish capcom would stop disappointing their fans specially the psp/ps3 ones.

After the recent failure of DMC4, It would probably be a good thing. We'd probably have some lame horrible PSP DMC game equivalent to DMC2. As much as I'd hope this isn't true, maybe capcom not making it is a good thing for the franchise. Cause in all honestly, DMC4 was nothing special, and I'd rank DMC3 better game. Although still no DMC game will ever match the first. By the way this is just my opinion. I honestly was disappointed and thought DMC4 wasn't up to the standards as DMC3 achieved. It seems to me capcom is a hit or miss when it comes to DMC titles in my eyes. Like all the odd number versions are better than the even. I also didn't like the whole story revolving around Nero. I think they should have reversed the roles, where the game main focus was dante, but Nero was a playable half way like Dante, cause I'm a DMC fan from the first and I like Dante far more than Nero. It just seemed like they tried to cater to the masses and make a new character in hope of making more money. They can deny and say it was to attract more fans, but the ultimate thing was more fans = more money. So I'm disappointed with the move especially them not even making some short of support for the game afterwards. The game would've been kickass if there was trophies in it, but nothing. Unless DMC5 becomes a better game like the previous odd numbers, imo DMC will never be as good as it used to be and crumble. God of War while influenced by DMC and Ninja Gaiden, has replaced DMC as my top favorite Action game.
