You've seen the screenshots, so it's now time to shed some light on the new gameplay elements in Nippon Ichi's Disgaea 2 Portable. Here's the info from Dengeki Online in handy-dandy list form:
- The Magichange system borrowed from Disgaea 3 lets you turn a monster-type character like a Prinny into a weapon.
- You can listen to the in-game music you unlocked at the Music House. There's also a Color Change House that lets you change a generic character's color scheme and a Data House that
- holds info such as item collection and play time.
- An item called a Level Sphere that gives extra bonuses to your items appears randomly in the Item World.
- You can power up your enemies (thereby cutting down on the time you need to level up) by asking the Dark Assembly.
- If you happen to have the first Disgaea PSP release, you can unlock a new character - the female samurai.
