Destruction Derby PS1 packshot - Image 1IGN reports that the latest addition to the PlayStation Store is the classic demolition derby game, Destruction Derby.

Released back in 2000 for the PS1, Destruction Derby was developed by Studio 33 and even saw a sequel on the PS2. According to IGN, Sony is planning to update the PS Store tomorrow, February 15, and among the additions to the store is Destruction Derby and a demo of Full Auto 2: Battlelines for the PS3.

Like the other classic PS1 games put up on the PS Store, Destruction Derby will also be playable only on the PSP. So if you're interested, watch out for the said update and look for Destruction Derby, which will be made available for US$ 5.99.

destruction derby in 2000?

destruction derby came out in 1995 not 2000 and the sequel was out on ps1 not ps2.

You are wrong

Destruction Derby was released in 1995, not 2000 and was made by Reflections, not Studio 33. Notice the Reflections logo that is on the boxart that you posted. Studio 33 made Destruction Derby RAW, the 3rd game in the series. QJ.net loses again
