Dengeki polls: Most enjoyed games of 2007 |
Ó
Japan's Dengeki publication has recently finished tallying up its reader's polls for their most enjoyed game of last year. And while DS and Wii titles were the region's hot-sellers for the past few months, it looks like the PSP's making quite the comeback on the popularity poll. The leader of Dengeki's tallies is Capcom's Monster Hunter Portable 2nd, followed along by Square Enix Crisis Core. Nintendo's Super Mario Galaxy for the Wii, and Dragon Quest IV for the DS follow in third and fourth place.
We also make note of the presence of Mistwalker's Lost Odyssey, the lone Xbox 360 title in this gaming pantheon. On a side note, this author admits his elation at seeing SRW OGG in the list.
It's just a crying shame there's no updates on whether Banpresto's got any plans of translating this for an English-speaking audience.
- Monster Hunter Portable 2nd (PSP, Capcom)
- Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII (PSP, Square Enix)
- Super Mario Galaxy (Wii, Nintendo)
- Dragon Quest IV (NDS, Square Enix)
- Super Robot Taisen OG: Original Generations Gaiden (PS2, Banpresto)
- Persona 3 Fes (PS2, Atlus)
- Sekaiju no Meikyuu (Etrian Odyssey) (DS, Atlus)
- Ar tonelico II: Sekai ni Hibiku Shoujo Tachi no Souzoushi (PS2, Banpresto)
- Fate/stay night [Realta Nua] (PS2, Kadokawa Shoten)
- Lost Odyssey (Xbox 360, Mistwalker)

"We also make note of the presence of Square's Lost Odyssey, the lone Xbox 360 title in this gaming pantheon. On a side note, this author admits his elation at seeing SRW OGG in the list." Square did not make, and had nothing to do with Lost Odyssey.
Whats so great bout Monster Hunter anyways?? well if some peoplem had more fun with it than Mario Galaxy it must be pretty cool
Thanks for spotting that. :)
" » ????? Whats so great bout Monster Hunter anyways?? well if some peoplem had more fun with it than Mario Galaxy it must be pretty cool" have you played monster hunter? its one of the best games for psp. gameplay and everything is so well put together its no doubt its the most enjoyed game of 2007
I was just commenting in another thread about how this game is really the standard in terms of gameplay depth and graphics that other games need to ATLEAST measure up to. As for your question, you really should play the game first. Then you could be better equipped to answer your own query.
U shudnt even b playin psp if uve never played or even heard of Monster HUnter lol.
was that directed towards me or obsidian? i play it daily and i am completely in love with it
But taking down those freakin' wyverns and dragons on your own certainly makes it worth the effort :D
i couldn't help but put in over 600 hours into it. Resident Evil 4 was great and i beat it 13 times with almost every weapon and even with the knife and hand gun only....top that hot shots... but that was no where near the 600 hours of Monster Hunter Madness FUN.......... If you wanna know what is so great about Monster Hunter Freedom 2, then link up with me with kai online and i'll show u what it all about and how F****ing dam fun it is.
