Clone Wars on Cartoon Network - Image 1Every Star Wars fan, us included, have to know about the force the latest in our beloved universe. And so with that said, we know this will definitely make everyone's day: LucasArts just announced that it's bringing the Clone Wars to the handhelds.

No, they're not waging war or something like that. Clone Wars, here, refer to its animated television series which originally ran on Cartoon Network. The program dealt mostly about the events that occurred between Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones and Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith.

There's still no details about the project's features but Feargus Caroll will be manning the project lead post. To those of you who are not familiar with this developer, Caroll has been working in the games industry for 12 years now and has worked on games such as Freedom Fighters, Black and White 2, and Battlefield: Modern Combat.

We're thinking that the Clone Wars game will feature lots of clone troopers and space fighting. A light saber fight with a Sithlord should be expected.

This is officially Good. The Clone Wars cartoons gave me way more pleasure than the three prequel movies combined.

Also, this means that we'll be able to play the awesome ultimate-badass fight between Samuel L. Windu and the massively gigahugenormous earthquake ship. Yes!
