Class of Heroes - Image 1Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, guys. Class of Heroes indeed looks to be a promising new title from Atlus for the PSP, but unfortunately, the wait is going to be a tad bit longer.

Originally scheduled for a release on April 7, the first-person dungeon crawler RPG is now pushed back to June 9.

This is because they've discovered a game-breaking bug right before going gold - meaning right before they were about to turn it over to their manufacturers.

True, it's unfortunate that there's a delay, but do count your blessings, whoever bug tester discovered that crash is a godsend. I'd rather have a fully functional game than an early-release game with a game-breaking bug.

Says Atlus' PR officer in the press release:

We will under no circumstance ship a product with foreknowledge of such an issue, and so we must delay the game to resolve the problem and deliver a final product to our fans that lives up to the high standards we aspire to and that they deserve.

great find...

The company should really focus on having more beta testers so they won't loose time and money especially if they have already set out a planned date for the release and they already have a time frame for everything else. This is going to a bit of a resource bugger now since they would have to debug the game, but good to know it's just months away til they release it. Hopefully there won't be any problems or whatsoever.

Kinda Nice to see...

It's good to see that some devs still take the time to check for bugs and the like... (Alone in the Dark and most 'next-gen' games produced in the last few years...) sigh.
