Chart Track UK: GTA 4 sells 926,000 copies in first week, takes first place |

The Chart Track UK sales numbers are in and it's no surprise that Grand Theft Auto 4 (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3) checks in on top of the list. After all, the game did sell a whopping 926,000 copies in its first week alone.Former number one Wii Fit has slipped to number two on the charts while Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games (Wii, DS)is still holding strong at third place. Wii Play rises to the number four slot while Mario Kart Wii dips to number 5.

When was the last time EA sold close to that?

So when GTA IV wasn't out the Wii was raping everything else? And when GTA IV subsides in sales the Wii will go back to raping everything else?

Keep in mind GTA IV sold that many on TWO consoles. I'm aware that it's an utterly fantastic game, but keep in mind that the Wii's big sellers, such as Wii Fit, Mario Galaxy and Mario and Sonic at the Olympics, are only on Wii. Well, except Mario and Sonic, 'cause that's on DS too. But the other two are Wii-only HUGE sellers, much like GTA IV. So no, GTA didn't rape Wii.
