Football Management fans ahoy! Eidos have today confirmed that the next installment of Championship Manager on PSP will release on 7, April 2006 (UK). The title was developed for Eidos by Gusto Games and features a complete and up to date version of the football management simulation, including the latest transfers straight from the January 2006 transfer window.

Brand Manager, Ray Livingstone stated; "This is the perfect football fix for fans, we're coming to the end of another fantastic season and there's a gap before the World Cup begins. What better way to spend your time then on the biggest football management simulation on the PSP."

Championship Manager 2006 for the Sony PSP handheld will feature 55 playable leagues across the top 12 footballing nations. A 2D match engine is also included, so fans can see the match unfold. They've also improved the manager options which influence your team tactics. So get your footie boots on one end and your thinking cap on the other, it's only a couple of weeks away.

Another Showdown

Who will win the handheld football management fight, EIDOS or SIGames. Well EIDOS have went one up and created it with a 2D match engine when Football Manager for the psp by SIGames only has a commenty engine. Will it in true Championship manager style look good from the outside but have a crappy database and realisticness. Or will Football Managers high status of having an amazing database, great GUI and as about realistic as a kick in the balls. In my opinion people unaware of the greatness of the Football Manager series on the PC will fall for the 2D match engine of Championship Manager. If it was me i would easily purchase Football Manager.

Dragged through the *****E

Completely agree. The once great name of Championship Manager is yet again being dragged through the *****e with yet another crappy release. Long live SI Games and Football Manger...the TRUE AND REAL football management sim.

SI are Gods

Avoid this like the plague, Football Manager is the true king of football management games and always will be.
