Breath of Fire, Marvel vs. Capcom, Street Fighter, Resident Evil.
Just some of the many games from Capcom during the PSOne era - and we
might be seeing some of them offered on the PlayStation Store as
downloadable titles next year.According to a post by Capcom's John Diamonon, the studio will be making quite a presence on the PS Store:
So what's in store for 09? Well, I'm working with Grace and Ro at SCEA to come up with some innovative ways we can offer games and programs on the PlayStation Store.
You can expect to see a whole slew of downloadable PSP and PSone titles from our vault next year.
That's some good news for next year. Personally I want some Mega Man games on there as well. Oh, and Strider 2. Friends kept saying it was a great game but I never got to play it.

I don't care what Capcom releases. They are a garbage company (especially for dropping the last good titles they have like Breath of Fire & Okami). I don't even see why Capcom have their own place on the PSN Store seeing as how they suck this gen.
Most of the games that Capcom will be releasing are already available on the Japanese PS Store--which begs the question, what the ***** took so long?
They sure as hell weren't a garbage company back in the 90s, early 2000s...

Most of the games they will be releasing won't see the light of day on the European storey anyway, so...
Some suggestions: MMX4-6 work wonders on the PSP ;)
I was hoping that Capcom would finally give in to our demands...Resident Evil 1-3, Megaman Legends 1-2, Breath of Fire 3 - here's hoping these are the first few titles they re-release
You don't even need a real address. Just a real zip code. How do you think people have downloaded stuff from the Japanese store?
I own all those games btw. I can just rip them and play them on my PSP.
Since we don't even have SF2HD in Europe yet (with no release date in sight) Capcom can get stuffed. Normally I'm very supportive of any new content for the PSP, but given Capcom's crap support for us in Europe I'll stick to CPS2 and PSOne Emulation through CFW. I'll support the companies that support us by buying their products (and believe me I buy a LOT of games), Capcom however ain't on that list.
Maybe if they prove me wrong I'll dip my hand in my pocket, but I'm through begging for scraps from a company that can't even be arsed to give us reasons for delays. Arrogant bastards.
Correct me if I'm wrong [and I probably am] but wasnt four actually Dragon Quarter?
If it was, wasnt it released on PS2?
I dunno, I never played any other BoF games after III.
I own all those games too, and plenty more, but I wouldnt mind paying like $6 for each considering most of those games are classics..
Dragon Quarter is 5 and 4 was released on the psOne it was released near the end of the psOne so its understandable you didn't notice the title, I have it and its a great game.
Now just explain to me how to pay for those things, and I'm a happy camper;

yeah, i actually own Breath of Fire 4 for PSone. great game. They should really release it on PSN seeing the flaw of good RPGs on PS3.

Now if we can get SE to get off their collective asses to put some of their classics *Cough*FF7,8,9* cough* That would be killer.
The games on PSN store mostly sucks! Plus the regional PSN store doesn't really get my attention. I mean come on why'd they have to separate EU, NA, Jap, etc. I could probably care less if they separate it while we can still change from different region so it would be easier for us to browse, select and probably buy something depending on which region got the available ones we're looking. Having to manage different stupid accounts on different region is just ridiculous. I'm still hoping for the best on Sony though that they would be enlightened somehow and add some freakin' games be it indie-awesome games or over-hyped games as long as it will flood the store and we get to choose more. They started this one might as well end it or continue it with finesse. Just take "iTunes" or "Steam" as a model and in no time you'll surpass them. haha. So go Digital Downloadable goodies! I hope they'll be selling em cheap too! Let Capcom start this one. haha. I might buy some classics if it's cheap. I'm not cheap, I'm just thrifty. LOL

That Europe also allows you to purchase PSN money just like they do in the US. Just purchase it and redeem the code on the US account.
Well hopefully they release MvC2 instead of MvC. I'd hate to see them do another Alpha on us. Meaning they released Alpha 1, when they could've released the far superior Alpha 2 or 3. I'd purchase RE 1-3 in a heartbeat once they hit the US PSN.

Before the release of Rayman 2 and Castlevania Chronicles how long has it been since The US PS Store received any new PS One titles? Before those 2 it was SF Alpha and R-Types. They came few and far between. If people want something that badly they'll go to another region's store or torrent search it and convert it with popstation. Maybe even the honest way by finding a used copy at some mom and pops store or online somewhere. The point is that it screws their sales more and more the longer they wait to release these high demand titles
Side note: I honestly hope the release Marvel vs Capcom 2 on PSN or retali. it is one of my favorite games of all time. It's one of the reasons that I keep my Sega Dreamcast connected to my TV. If Capcom is able to fit it on a GD-ROM (GD=Gigabyte Disc), then a PSN download shouldn't be too hefty.
i hate how half the people complain about a lack of good titles on psn. just about all of em have yet to play any of em, what about the pixeljunk games, super stardust HD, echochrome, super street fighter 2, blast factor, bionic commando rearmed, everyday shooter, nucleus, even lumines supernova, i dont know if everybody is just cheap or jus doesnt wanna buy psn cards (dont complain about those either, we sell em at best buy)
megaman legends 1 and 2 would be completely awesome, not to mention megaman X 4-6, i'd get em all in a heart beat
I have 46 downloads, some from other regions and they're all great. When Sony does something right people complain, when Sony does something wrong they still complain.
Holy crap, no wonder I havn't heard of any new breath of fire games lately. Capcom booo!!!!
