Ó
Here's some good news for the PSP owners who enjoy a good round of Trivial Pursuit-style gaming with the rest of their gang. Sony Europe is sending out word that they're preparing the launch of Buzz! for the PSP. Finally, after much speculation since David Amor voiced out that he was thinking about Buzz! for the PSP, we now have some concrete, official announcement.
The title's foray from the PlayStation 2 to the PlayStation Portable will receive a revamped single-player mode, with over 15 different quiz challenges being made available. The game will also carry three new multi-player modes: Pass Around, Game Share and Quiz Host.
Pass Around will enable players to pass the PSP around, allowing them to choose which of their friends gets the next set of questions. Some questions will also let you choose which photo to reveal to the next player, further adding to the unpredictability this mode offers.
Quiz Host will enable up to six players to connect with with their PSPs. One of the players is then chosen as the game host - it's up to them to decide what questions to hand out, and how much to reward/punish the other players. Game Sharing will enable up to four players to share off once copy of Buzz!. Here's a rundown Buzz! PSP's major features:
- Three new multiplayer modes, all requiring either just one PSP or one copy of the game to enjoy: Pass Around, Game Share and Quiz Host
- Bigger single player mode with 15 quiz challenges
- Six new single and multiplayer round types specially created for PSP
- Over 5000 unique questions alongside over 1000 licensed picture and video assets
- Eight question categories: Music, TV, Science, Celebrities, Nature, Sport, Movies and General Knowledge
