Blackout draws curtains for E For All 2007 |
Ó
Right on time! The E for All Expo suddenly suffered a blackout just when the crowds started to thin out on 7:10 pm, according to gaming site Kotaku. The blackout spread across the Nintendo and EA booths located in the South Hall, basically cutting short their time with the Super Smash Bros. Brawl demo as well as Quake IV.Of course, when blackouts happen some people just tend to go a little naughty. Were there some lucky chaps who managed to swipe a Super Smash Bros. Brawl demo while the lights are out? We may just have to check the internet for a bit to find out.

ahhh ...damn video game gods lol
I knew this would happen!!!
and told people something was going to go wrong at E for All and people would panic and start doing mischief and take a copy of the SSBB demo for sure.
I didn't cause the problem but i was guessing.
lol
I'm very surprised that this actually happened and I should have made a bet with someone.
all I want to know now is if someone would actually have the guts to take a copy of the demos
If there was no chance for a MGS4 demo to be stolen and leaked, i dont care...
E4 blew..
what? I didn't steal the demo! Don't blame me! No, wait... oh, no one blamed me. Ok, but just for the record, I didn't steal it!
heh heh.
Anyhow, let's just hope that IF someone stole any games, they were kind enough to leak it to the torrent sites. For example, thanks to Fanjita for leaking Pandora's battery to us! We owe you one!
[to potential flamers: joke.]
Well, I believe the least Masahiro Sakurai can do is release a downloadable demo for all the fans that were dissapointed with the delay on Christmas Eve, so everyone can have a Merry Christmas, and brawl all night long.
Pretty much, the best Christmas present for every wii owner.
who agrees with me? :) lol
agreed. btw, I realized something: it would've probably been impossible to steal it...
first, the wiis are probably being protected by an alarm, OR maybe they're eject proof (as in, you can't eject the brawl DVD). Then again, maybe it's like the newest episode in CTRLALTDEL-online; where the disc requires a development kit, not available on home user wiis...
OR
Maybe they don't have any security whatsoever... But even so, if the power's out, good luck stealing a disc from a wii whose power is out... And good luck stealing the wii as that's your only recourse. Though they're tiny, they're not THAT tiny. Now the PS2 Slim... that's a different story, hehheh.
Oh, and I guess there's one other way to steal it, but you'd have to be like batman to be prepared for this tactic: you must use a straightened paper clip to manually eject the DVD... but what's the chaces of that?
Screw it. Let's just hope some 1337 h4xx0r gets a job with Nintendo, and rips an ISO of the game onto his OQO computer when no one's looking, and releases it on demonoid.com...
Man, I'm such a geek... lol, reminds me of the 'covert modem' mission from Perfect Dark, where you have to hack a door's password while the bad guys are trying to snipe you
Or was that goldeneye?
you have a point about the power supply.
lol
mankind can only wish..... :(
ps. I can't even remember playing Perfect Dark or Goldeneye even though I beat the games.
LOL
