BBFC prepared to take Manhunt 2 to High Court |

Take-Two Interactive recently celebrated a successful appeal to the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) to give Manhunt 2 a rating in order to be released in the UK. However things aren't over yet as the BBFC warns that it may yet take the case to High Court.
The BBFC is still waiting for the report of the proceedings and warns that if they find anything unlawful in the proceedings of the Video Appeals Committee (VAC), they will take the case to the most powerful judiciary in the country to make sure the game isn't released.
The BBFC adds that they will not be able to give Manhunt 2 (Wii, PSP, PS2) a rating until they get the judgment papers from the VAC proceedings. A BBFC spokesperson comments:
Our main concern is to ensure a lawful outcome. It needs to be the right decision within the UKÂ’s legal framework - which will be the right decision in the public interest.
The Entertainment and Leisure Software Publishers Association (ELSPA) maintains a neutral stand in the matter for now, saying:
For the same reasons we respected the original decision by the BBFC, ELSPA also respects the decision of the VAC. We await the BBFC's next steps with interest.

Glad I live united states that hardly give a ***** on some things.
BBFC reminds of one of those pricks that wants us to dress in uniforms in schools.

For anyone. Not for Rockstar, not for the BBFC. Manhunt 2 isn't even that great of a game, it got mediocre reviews from most game sites. TakeTwo needs to stop wasting money on this game. If it was a GTA game, then it'd be worth it. Manhunt? Naw.
Just let the Brits and other Europeans wallow in their ignorance (Germany). America isn't all that great either but in this specific case, it's much better than most European countries with respect to censorship.
