Backtrack to the 80's with Vice City Stories tracklist |
Ó
Let's go back to the neon-leggings and puffed-up-coif-donning era we've desperately tried to bury at the back of our brains because of our embarrassingly disgusting fashion sense.Remember the oldies-but-goodies songs from Marvin Gaye, Earth Wind and Fire, Phil Collins, Foreigner (!!!), and Pat Benatar? If you don't, well, let Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories refresh your memory 'coz their partial game tracklist boasts of these artists and other 80's wonders!
No kidding folks, they have released the partial tracklist over at the game's site and the list dons the artists mentioned above, along with other bands and artists who made (new) waves back in the 80's. Even if you're not into the era's famous genres, you can't complain about the selection 'coz the artists featured are the ones we can consider as those who really knew their 80's. But we won't talk up the list even further, you be the judge:
- Philip Bailey - Easy Lover
- Alan Parsons Project - Games People Play
- Pat Benatar - Love is a Battlefield
- Jonzun Crew - Pack Jam
- Run DMC - It's Like That
- Whodini - Freaks Come Out At Night
- Dio - Holy Diver
- Dokken - Breaking the Chains
- Ratt - Round and Round
- Exodus - Together Forever
- Class Action - Weekend
- Sister Sledge - Lost in Music
- Bobby Valentin - Mi Ritmo Es Bueno
- Hector Lavoe - Mi Gente
- Willie Colon - El Malo
- Marvin Gaye - Sexual Healing
- Earth Wind & Fire - Fantasy
- Keni Burke - Keep Rising to the Top
- Foreigner - I Want to Know What Love Is
- The Assembly - Never Never
- Pat Benatar - We Belong
- Human League - Love Action
- Japan - Quiet Life
- Yaz - Don't Go

if they dont put duran duran in that game there's something seriously wrong with them.
I'm pretty sure there was a gaming magazine article stating that Depeche Mode's "Everything Counts" is in the game. Don't ask me which article though, it was a couple months back. :)
