Full Priced Games

Taste is separated only but with latitude. That's why it would certainly be very interesting to know what games are the most popular in other parts of the globe. What is considered good in France may not be a hit with the Chinese. At the same time, there could be no difference at all. What you like could also be favored by other gamers around the world. Since we can't really go into details country by country, let's start with the weekly game sales chart from the Land Down Under with a week ending on August 20, updated by GfK Australia.

Another idiotic post by Anna S. That reads like a retarded first year journalism major. I'm probably right too. She tries so hard to be eloquent but inalienating at the same time; she just manages to sound freakin gargled.

I mean, we didn't get swept by the "Next-gen" hype and is patiently waiting until all of the consoles are out and ready to be compared, so that we don't go for the cheaper console, but the one that best suits us.

Mind you, PS2 is still the number one console at the moment.

"Mind you, PS2 is still the number one console at the moment."

it might be the number one console, but its not the hottest console. the ds is the hottest right now, and will probably sell just as much if not more than the ps2 eventually the way its going.

Being an Aussie I check the charts each time they are updated and normally they're enough to make you sick. That said this week's chart isn't too bad, usually 5 of the top 10 are rubbish lisenced games that aren't any good.

Doesn't really help that Australian releases lag behind other countries in many cases. Kingdom Hearts 2 isn't out yet! Woe.

It would be nice if games like Dead Rising were not released a month after every other bloody country.

I wish these stoopid developers would give us Aussies a break every once in a while.
