Tantalus CEO and Australian Developers Association President Tom Crago - Image 1Tom Crago, CEO of Tantalus Interactive and President of the Game Developers Association of Australia, is quite optimistic about the performance of the Sony PSP. In fact, Mr. Crago expressed his opinion at a recent Dissecta session held in Melbourne.

It seems that game developers are now singing a different tune. According to Crago, publishers had reportedly predicted the death of Sony's portable machine; now it appears they're more eager to hear developers pitches and give the thumbs-up signal for PSP games.

What has caused them to change their mind?  The new Slim & Lite version of the PSP may be one factor; games such as Patapon and Gods of War: Chains of Olympus may be another. Regardless of the reason, the "PSP now seems to be looking pretty good for the next few years at least," Crago says.

You are absolutly right, except for one thing, it will die for those people who are 'against' homebrew, and those who are completly ignorant of the psp's full capability.
