The PSP installment of Ghostbusters has had quite a bit of a rocky road. There's none of that anymore, though, as Atari has finally announced the game's release date: November 2009. The price tag? US$ 29.99.

The game's PSP version offers the ability to switch between four equipment sets to access eight unique proton pack functions and use gadgets like the PKE Meter and Paragoggles to scan and analyze targets. Here's a trailer courtesy of Joystiq:

» Interesting

I loved the PS3 version, and the idea of hunting Ghosts on the go appeals, but I guess I'll wait for the reviews.

Nice to have it on the system though.

Didn't the Wii version look kinda like this? I really don't like the character styling at all. Hope it at least plays as well as the PS3 one I enjoyed greatly earlier in the year.

» the reason

The reason they made the PS2,Wii, PSP, an DS different from 360 and PS3 is because those 2 systems are like for teens and adults, and the other 4 are for Kid to Adult. 360 and PS3 were just intended for the "older" age group

Yeah but the PSP always felt to me more adult than kid. Greater majority of violent and 'mature' games on it and less of the kiddy stuff and the fact there are a lot of PSP owners that are PS3 owners as well. Oh well. Like I said I just hope this plays well and maybe I can ignore the art style.
