Any Arsenal fans out there in PSP land? Followers of the English football club may be able to watch replays and check data and stats on their PSPs while watching the game live in the near future.

The club is currently doing trial runs for a Sony-developed live-streaming application at the Emirates Stadium. Arsenal's commercial director, Adrian Ford, told Reuters TV that the system has already been tested and could be up and running within the next 18 months or so.

"This device will brings an extra dimension to the game with information and statistics," said Ford. "But we think that the next generation of the software that runs it could actually link fans during the game with each other."

Hmm. Makes me think of people arguing contentious calls while waving around their PSPs as proof.
