Gamers are in for a lot of fist-pumping when Electronic Arts' Army of Two: The 40th Day hits retail early next year. EA Montreal has just announced the North American and European release dates for the multiplatform co-op shooter.
The two-man PMC team of Salem and Rios will commence with the action in North America on January 12, 2010. Gamers in Europe will get the game four days earlier, on January 8. Those who pre-order the game will gain access to the Extraction multiplayer mode at launch. Everybody else will be able to play it a month after the game ships.
Army of Two: The 40th Day will be available on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PlayStation Portable.
