Brian Hodous, Chief Customer Officer of Activision Publishing said that Mr. Trouvain's experience in driving the growth of organizations will be a big asset for the company, as Activision tries to take advantage of the new opportunities brought about by the transition to the next-gen consoles.

Joerg Trouvain will be replacing Tricia Bertero in Activision. Bertero will be going back to the US after her two-year European assignment. Activision is thankful for Bertero's work in the company, saying that Ms. Bertero has been instrumental in setting a foundation of growth for the company's European business.

Second only to EA, Activision is one of the largest third party video game publishers in the world. It is based in Santa Monica, California but holds office in other parts of the world, such as France, Germany, Japan, South Korea, the Netherlands and UK, where Joerg Trouvain will now be based.
