Stephen Fry - LittleBigPlanet - Image 1

Man, I almost missed this - and to think I've been following him on Twitter for the past couple weeks now. Stephen Fry has just announced to the Tweeting community that he's once again lending his voice talent as the godly voice over narrator-man in LittleBigPlanet for the PSP. After a 7-hour day at the studio, the English comedian Tweeted:

I've come to the end of a lush voice-athon and yes, am empowered to confess that it was for a new PSP version of Little Big Planet.

Forgive him for the spaces between Little and Big, and Big and Planet. He proved himself very much worthy as an LBP narrator in the PS3 version. He can get away with anything. He's god like that.

I love his voice, but I always think of the hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy movie when I hear it though.

Ain't that the truth, his voice goes well for LBP because he has a very calming tone in his voice. Brilliant for a game that is meant to be calming and relaxing. I just wonder if there is gonna be support for level editors in the PSP version like the PS3 and if there will be costumes from PSN etc.

Good stuff. His voice and delivery of the lines were a perfect fit for the PS3 game and should be too for the PSP version. Oddly I was just watching the Blackadder the Third episode where he played the Duke of Wellington (seen every episode of Blackadder loads of times and it never gets old). The guy is great.

Mr Bean is crap, Rowan Atkinson as the various versions of Blackadder though, is one (or several depending how you look at it) of the best TV characters of all time.

I think Rowan Atkinson showed diversity in playin 2 completely different roles of character. One spiteful of everything and the other full of obliviousness but happy nonetheless. One of my more favourite actors just for his actual skill.
