A $10-Second Chance For Gamers |
Ó
anticipation, and then it finally gets released, tagged at a cost that your budget just can't afford. Unless you skip all your meals and save every penny you've got, that is. Totally sucks, right?
Well, now you have that second chance! And starving doesn't even have to be an option. We recently posted in this website an article about Death Jr and how it only cost under $10! Yes, it is definitely for real! And who do we credit for this mecca of an opportunity? Why, the leader in retail stores, of course - Sears. From ps2">PS2 to PSP, Nintendo DS and Xbox, Sears is currently offering games at marked down prices. For as low as $9.97!
Unbelievable? Believe it. One Codeejonz (thanks for the heads up!) actually went to Sears to pick up his copy of Death Jr after reading that QJ article. Guess what he found out: Death Jr did retail for the reported price - and so did other titles like Virtua Tennis, Untold Legends, and The Hustle. SSX on Tour even sold for $6.97. Codeejonz did warn that most of the titles aren't marked, but just ask Sears to do a price check and you just might get the games for the marked down price.
Head to the nearest Sears outlet near you before you miss this chance again! You can also check out sears.com for a full listing of the items on sale.

1st and 3rd suck!
Anybody who lives in America, buy SSX On Tour. At $6.97 it should be against the law to not to
A bunch of sh*ty games just about priced correctly.
This is cool, need more games though. That SSX is a steal for that price.
Ok I Call Bull**** on this here cause they are deff. not selling games for under $10 dollars. Screw you again QJ. Lets just post everything without even checking it out like always.... i dub you worst psp site ever!
agree with #6 accept for the worst site ever comment went to sears store no games under 19.99 went to there online store no games under 14.99 your artical is wrong. you should positivly check this out befor posting it and about asking a sears employee i asked the electronics mgr. and he laughed at me said there not selling any games for that price asked me where i heard tht said the net laughed again thanx for nothing .
hehe, I agree with Assneck. Everybody remembers how hyped up Death Jr was and it turned out to be a very crappy game. I mean, if they're selling Tekken Resurrection for this price then yes, this is an awesome price for an awesome game. I did in fact see this game on sale at Sears for this price btw so...qj did get it right although the story was ripped from somewhere else like always.
hmm I wonder whos pocket qj dipped into for putting up this ad
Everyone who is posting unregistered negative ***** can eat a *****. F|_|CK 0FF and don't even post if you are just going to be haterz.
Christ, go build your own damn website.
And say "Hi" to your mothers for me and tell them that they better have my money tomorrow night...
...My pimp hand is ready for some ***** backtalk.
Actually I went to sears.com and searched for 'Death jr'. It shows up as $9.99. It's out of stock for delivery though. If you check store availability you can see if it's by a store near you. (found a couple that has it in stock...)
I also picked up LOTR tactics for 14.99. Saw several other games including Ghost in the shell for the same price.
sears and sears outlet are 2 different places...
All these deals that get posted, true or not, always seem to be for stores have no presence or very little presence in my area.
Sears has a few Appliance Center stores around me, but only 2 regular department stores in a metro area of over a million people. One's in the ghetto a few miles from me and the other is over 20 miles across town.
There's 3 Toys R Us stores in town. Two are in ghetto areas (we've got a few areas like that here in Milwaukee) and all of them have crap for inventory in stock and all look like they're on the verge of going out of business. My uncle used to be a Toys R Us store manager in various cities in Illinois, Iowa, and Wisconsin none of his stores ever looked like that. He'd be chewing some serious ass if they did.
K-Mart's got three stores in the area, and are in the same shape as the Toys R Us stores from the look of things. Crap inventory, understaffed, dirty, and tons of junk on clearance all around the store almost none of which I'd care to buy even on clearance.
For games, my best bet around here is to go to Best Buy or Gamestop. Target and Wal-Mart aren't horrible options, but they don't seem to have the inventory of the other places, especially for all things PSP lately. They get most of the bigger titles in, but only very few copies each and a poor selection of accessories so you miss out for quite a while if you don't get them right away. And it seems to take forever for them to restock. It seems that stores around here are scared to invest too much in the PSP.
Even my nearest BlockBuster store has really tapered off on their PSP rental games. They've added very few games since the launch titles and I noticed yesterday that they actually have less titles available for rental now than they ever have since launch. They've been *trying* to sell some of the older/less rented titles, but the same copies have been on the shelves for weeks. I guess it doesn't help when they're trying to sell used copies when places like Sears and K-Mart are reportedly clearancing new copies for less money.
Vipre77 is a bohunk ofay cracker redneck.
These games are *****ty.
Thank you.
Death Jr. Isn't even on the Sears Website....
that's a lie
It might not be on your Sears, but the Sears in pembroke lakes mall, south florida had this offer. I picked up Death Jr for 10 bucks and SSX On Tour for 7 bucks. The packaging doesnt say the price though, but you can get a price check and it really is the price they tell you in this article.
i got untold legends for 15 in july at sears, it was marked, acid was 20, acid 2 was 30 and ghost in the shell was 15
i should of waited a few days
Got Death Jr. for $9.99 @ Sears. They also, had some other games, but for $14 & $19.
Though I did not purchase the games.. Death, Hustle, and SSX were all 9.99. Ghost in the Shell and LOTR Tactics were 14.99. As well as MANY other games for the other consoles were extremely cheap. Quit *****ing and check it out for yourself. I went to 3 Sears near me and all had the same prices for the sales.
