We're pretty sure you guys have a fancy case mod for your PSP already. You've got fur-lined, cow patterned, metallic, case mods. You've got shoulder button lights, mods that give your PSP fancy blue rings, and mods that make your your PSP look like its flaming or something.

Well, this particular mod by AcidMODS is worthy of a mention because first, it's nice, neat and clear, and second, it oddly reminds the Trekkies among the QJ staff of Borg implants. PSP: Resistance is futile.

Incredible to say the least.

I would think he would either have to sacrifice several PSPs in order to accomplish that feat, ~OR~ he's incredibly skilled.

He would need to to totally disassemble the PSP somehow make a mold of the Backplate, then recast it in clear resin to a level of precision where it goes back together properly, and more importantly FUNCTIONALLY.

Looks *****. Those lights would become annoying and useless. But they are already that right now.

Seems like everyone hates those lights, including me.

Only reason I see you'd have them on is if you want EVERYONE around you to notice you got a PSP, maybe a desperate way to make friend for a loser who got none. It's an attention-whore PSP.

Thats amazing, they should make a kit to buy. I want it, not because its clear (thats gai) but because I could paint it to be a different color, eg: matching a custom faceplate!

Yeah it was a nightmare I hade to hide 32 wires and an Oscillating chip in order to get the led's to do that, just to find out everyone hates it :)

firstly to the first comment, this plate is available on ebay...

Secondly who cares if you don't like it, the important thing is he does and how impressive the feat to fit this stuff in and still look reasonably good.

Infact i loved this mod so much i immediately ordered a clear shell and intend to use some similar lighting but not flashing blue... thought about using some uv lights or simply some glow in the dark paint on the inside.

Some of you guys say that its an attempt to make friends or something but think about it. If you werent going to show off anything on your psp, then what is the point of wallpaper, the point of fonts. Think about it. Even people who drool over the white psp, if operates the same so why would you want it? Because it looks cool. So when it comes to this, this looks REALLY cool so I give it 2 thumbs up.

who cares what the ppl say about it.. the ones who hate it are the ones whos MOMMIES and DADDIES will not pay for them to get the parts to do this mod..

even if its not somthing that you will do to your psp there is no need to talk *****.. this just shows the kind of stuff that can be done with the psp

Nuff respect for the engineering skill involved in this mod everyone is intitled to there opinion but is there any need for being disrespectfull to the engineer who peformed the mod (i think not) so all you mouthing noobs out there what have you done for the psp comunitity (love to hear oyur coments)

Keep up all the good work Refreshing change to your everyday mods and my 3 year old daughter thinks its fantastic and would like one for hee psp...

this mod is really cool!, i wuldent atempt it on my psp ide be too afraid to fusk things up inside. and thats saying sompthing, this guy has some serious skills to pull thing off and make it look good
