That's horrible. When I was a kid I used to stick black tape over my Gameboy Pocket's power LED since it was so distracting and bright. Why the hell would anyone put bright LEDs infront of a (comparatively) dull screen? Does the modder have any idea of how the human eye works?
... I agree - does seem kind of counter productive.
PSP GOes BRITE
Someone modded a PSP on release day making that an earlier and possibly the first mod.

I think he knew the cost when he decided to mod a crappy hand held.
This thing has enough battery problems without powering 9 extra lights, they might not take much power but i'd be more interested in increasing battery life when you have no choice but to plug the thing in for charging.
How about modding it to use old psp 2000-3000 batteries instead of including stupid lights on the PSP Go
Half the battery is just plastic case and circuitry, the 1 in Psp go looks like a standard phone type lithum cell and takes probably half the space, the best we can hope for is some kind of case with removable battery, and some Chinese developer probably already has 1 half made.

LEDs are like stickers they dont do much...
the psp go doesnt give us much to work with tho since we actually want the hdd in there. lol
i wanna see someone put a bigger hard drive. leds = boring
who the hell wants to stare at bright lights when they are playing a game. lol

thats exactly what psp go should have but with lights that work with the games like in gta have the bottom two lights work as break lights and stuff like that
That is, someone grew some balls and finally grabbed a set of screwdrivers and modded the damn thing.
