SS 40

Sometimes, you have to get to know someone really well for you to realize that you are mere strangers. These are the words that pops to mind after reading the latest outing of Matt Kindt's Super Spy series. The 40th issue carries the title "Ulterior Motive", and Kindt once again gave it that dark and eerie atmosphere that is not meant to scare the reader, but it is somehow meant to get you thinking deep about yourself and the people around you.

Again, you need not read the entire series for you to be able to get the drift of this one. Why? Each issue is a standalone short story, so you need not review the others. SS characters are based on another Matt Kindt creation - the graphic novel 2 Sisters.

If you want to read something that will intrigue you, but you happen to be time-strapped, this could be the read you're craving for. It's short, intriguing, and disturbing on some levels. If you feel that this isn't enough, you could check out other Super Spy issues- "Voyeur", "Hospital", "The Map", "Spite" and "The Conversation".
