Portable LifeThe first issue of a new PSP magazine has been released, Portable Life. Why another magazine, you ask? Well, the Portable Life team hopes to set themselves apart from the others via unique writing style and content that is not being covered in other magazines. They focus on quality, not quantity - so the first issue holds 70 pages for your PSP to enjoy.

Portable Life #1
contains:
  • News about the PS1 emulator, the Basic Pack, and the new 2.70 firmware
  • Opinions on Portable Media Players, why teens are losing interest in gaming, and a professor banning laptops in class
  • Homebrew news featuring Starcraft and PiMP streamer
  • Game reviews with a RPG round-up and looks at SOCOM: Fireteam Bravo, Gottlieb Pinball Classics, The Sims 2 and Fired Up
  • Releases section containing release schedules for May and June, highlighting Me & My Katamari and Exit

I wish you good luck Portable Life. Most mags don't make it past issue 1 or 2. It seems to be a hard nut to crack.

Really though that PL was pretty well written and designed. I really hope that you continue this project, but if you don't at least we will be left with a great 1rst Issue.

very very nice! Sometimes I would like to see more images and screens of the games, instead of big blocks of text. Anyway I enjoyed reading it so far, a lot of intresting stuff!

Our feedback has been mostly (if not wholly) positive. We have a lot of readers already who are looking forward to the next magazine! The first issue was hard to pull through and it wasn't perfect. We will make sure we improve our content for you in the next magazine.

Don't forget those LocoRoco challenges for those with 2.70 PSP's!

the content are good and professional like you can see on every standart magazine ,however I have few suggestion they add pictures background on everypages wish are just annoying for me and can disturbe the text reading!

also I would like to see more bigger screenshot either for the games review sections!other that it's a good start, I looking foward for the next Magazine :o)

For those of you who don't know their URL it's http://www.portablelife.eu/

Since PSPUpdates didn't get around to linking back to the site they stole the magazine from.

dude, the whole Thing basicly would be nothing if it wasn't for thier best Writer, hydrowolfy. Not to say the others aren't great, but i shudder to think of what this magazine would be like without him.
