Metal Gear Tell-all In 'Show Maybe' Mag Now Available Online

Every year at E3, attendees are given generous helping of freebies - from pamphlets to trinkets to cheap junk that fills giant tote bags. If you're a Metal Gear fan, the only thing you'd want to get your hands on (swag-wise) is Kojima Production's "Show Maybe?", a parody of the daily E3 magazine Show Daily.

Those who weren't lucky enough to attend E3 2006 can still have the chance to see the magazine in its full-gloss glory as Kojima has made the entire magazine available on its website. Free of charge, of course.

As it's a complete version, expect to see full ads which are as interesting as the articles themselves. The mag reveals details about upcoming Metal Gear projects including Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops, hints on storylines, confirmation of a Metal Gear Solid movie, and a sneak peek at the Nintendo DS game Lunar Knights. It also features a behind-the-scenes look at the 15-minute trailer of the much anticipated Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots.

A film adaptation of Metal Gear Solid... that ISN'T directed by Uwe Boll! And there was much rejoicing!

Went to E3 and got two of those mags. The real daily mags are surprisingly good as well. The Kojima booth was weak. It had a large screen showing MG4 and only one little screen showing their new PSP game. Weak.

Thats all they needed to attract people. You should know by how many people were piling up into other booths to be able to see the trailer. Might suck because no playable games, but thats not what they are trying to do. Plus, Kojima doesen't have a big studio and is working on only one franchise, so Konami isn't going to spend much money on a booth the features only one game. Anyhow, I can't wait untill MGS4 and MGS movie comes out.
