Weerasuriya and Barlog talk about God of War: Chains of Olympus

God of War: Chains of Olympus from Ready At Dawn is set around ten years prior to the original God of War. The Chains of Olympus subtitle is probably a most apt description because Kratos served the gods directly and didn't fight them during these times. It's really interesting to know why he eventually abandoned them.

Anyway, the video below is an interview with RAD Co-founder and GoW: Chains of Olympus director Ru Weerasuriya and creative director Cory Barlog. It was conducted during Sony Gamers' Day 07 and it is evident that the two are really excited about the project. They even said that they took some time off Daxter just to play God of War.

Disappointment

I hope you'll be ready for tears when you find out all the copies that haven't been pre ordered are gone because of the people who will be waiting there since 3 days before and what not. lol
