Video interview: Groening and staff hints on Simpsons game features, plus more |

Now we've got a very short visual snippet of what's coming for the game, straight from the writing staff, including The Simpsons' creator Matt Groening. In the game development team's bet to make this new title "not just another Simpsons game, but 'The Simpsons game,'" they have put a lot of work into making sure the game will entice new and old Simpsons fans alike.
With just a few short seconds of gameplay coverage in the video, at least we can put some pictures to words that Kotaku's Brian Crecente has penned. Spoofs of games (see if you can spot and name a few shown in the video immediately below) are just a few of the laughs we're expecting from this new installment.

yeah gonna buy this as i camp out for the movie
GTA is in the background...
this makes me happy i bought a PS3 for myself... cause with all the good games in line i won't be able to get some quality time to play my sports games... let my kids play the games like the Simpson (which by the way looks fun... i'll definitely get this) and Little Big Planet on their PS3... i'll be cutting people's heads off on my PS3 with Heavenly Sword while waiting for the PS3 big guns coming out in 2008!!!
Perhaps a Loco Roco one with Homer rolling around like that?
Wow sounds like they are adding some interesting things for the Wii too. Hopefully it isn't utter ***** like most other tv/movie games.
