Ok. I'm speechless. I don't know what to say. It's just... it's just so... *great sigh of defeat* Here's the some gameplay demo footage for Namco Bandai's Dragonball: Evolution on the NY Comic Con '09 floor. I'll let it speak for itself:

Err, so what's up with that uber long loading screen, eh? And Gohan as Goku's grandfather? Excuse me while I step out for some fresh air.

I was thinking along the same lines, but then I always remember him as Grandpa or Master. The Gohan I'm most familiar with is the son, so it does kinda feel strange to see a Gohan that's actually waaaay older than Goku. I'm sure a whole bunch of other people would feel the same way. -_-;;

But thanks for clearing that up! Let's hope other folks out there who watch the movie don't get weirded out by the sudden oldification of Gohan.

Does anybody else wonder why they brought back Gohan? He's pronounced dead in the first frickin episode. And yeah I know he comes back for a day, but it seems as if he never died in this.

Goku killed Gohan(the grandpa). They changed the story big time which might be bad? Dude even the guy that's introducing the game must not like this listen to him in 5:57-6:10.

sounds like a swell plan. Why would waste $5-10 dollars, and an hour and a half at the movies, watching a movie you know you wont like? And even if you don't go to the theater and pirate it, that still a waste of time that could be productive.

It may be surprisingly good.. although I doubt it. I'm definitely going to see this in theaters. Maybe it'll be like the 1994 Fantastic Four movie. It looks horrible, it was really good. And LMAO they're trying to make it as close to the movie as possible.. They should do the exact opposite it seems!!

My life Long dream of a DB or DBZ Live movie has turned into this Super Long Nightmare, It's like a never Ending River of Crap Keeps spilling on my Head.

I just Hope that everyone will STAY AWAY from the Movies when this is Playing So they will Know How BAD it is.

I really Think that everyone Who worked on this Film Should NEVER work in Movies EVER again. they Should be ashamed of them Self's for making this.

but still the game doesn't seem bad, i actually like the fighting system, its like dragonball z shin budakai another road, only problem is the characters that are being replaced...how sad...dont think ill play this game its like DBZ shin budakai..

and yeah looks like everything sucks. I'm pretty sure the loading can be solved if you're using an iso dump and cfw. OR if the game supports media install to play it via the memory stick. otherwise, those who are on OFW will be stuck with the long loading times as usual.

and yeah, again, the game just looks like it plainly sucks big time.

How come this lame ass film has the budget to release a videogame?. That really pisses me off

and oh!, on a sidenote, the further you go from reality the better. What's that stupid obsesion with "Realistic", we go to videogames to escape from the boredom of "Reality", so making a Realistic videogame is one of the stupidest things I've ever heard (and it goes to all "realistic" videogames out there, not only this piece of crap)

So in dragonball gt it continues .....and goku is finally grow up and gohan is an old grandpa. so the story may ends .but making a game like this..........ok my personal comment would be :| 1st . character select screen. whats with the backround select screen? maybe a tekken select rip off screen and music?| 2nd . graphics : hmmm bad very bad even Super Mario 64 is more awesome than that!| 3rd. gameplay u Seriously about this? hope this will not end up in stores . what i like ? that would be the gameplay backround and u see the bird was flying. very nice . but maybe if they think spending some time in it , it would someday a succes

This is so 90's.. and even bad for the 90's!!

1. std. fighting

2. little to no cgi

3. no interesting new moves of play

4. what? less than 10 characters???

5. almost no story line whatsoever.

6. pretty average graphics (for any current console)

This sux WAY worse than street fighter the movie (movie + game) did!

It looks like Namco has put about $1.50 into that game and only one person is working on it, and that person has "special needs"

seriously.. namco has made enough fighting games to almost be able to make a standard layout and system. then skin it with different backgrounds, menu graphics, character graphics and then apply custom animations to it.

Is this what happened? Did someone say to namco the day before they presented that they needed a working game and they just skinned a standard fighting game pretending that they are actually currently working on this?

it's beyond shocking and comprehension!

I think i'd actually have more fun playing "Lee Carvallo's Putting Challenge"

Abominations like this should never be rewarded with turning over a profit.
