Sibling rivalry alert: MGS Peace Walker and Rising "not good friends" |

Who would've thought. Kojima's teams in competition. That's right. The two teams working separately on Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker and Metal Gear Solid: Rising (PS3, Xbox 360, and PC) "are not really good friends," this according to the big man himself, Hideo Kojima.
Talking to GamePro, Kojima relayed how there is an on-going "sibling rivalry" between the two teams, primarily because one is getting more than the other.
The reason why I say they are not good friends is because the PSP is working day and night to make it even better than MGS4, but of course they can't do it because of a lot of restrictions. On the other hand, the Rising Team is using loads of money and loads of capacity and hardware specs. If you could imagine the PSP team looking at the Rising team saying, they have all the money and specs. That's the one reason why they are not good friends.
And how does he find this scenario?
It's interesting for me to see the team members act in this way. This was never before because it was always just one small team. Now we are much bigger. So it's really interesting for me to watch the team right now.
A little competition can't hurt anyone, especially if in the end, the product will be a showcase of competitive brilliance -- which we know we need a whole lot more these days.

but in the end, it's gonna be the gamers who'll benefit from this all, so hooray! :)

I know it is in an attempt to lure people to the PSP brand, have a psp-go bundle, etc.
However, as Kojima said, they are being restricted in so many ways because it is a PSP game.
Sony needs to move PS3's and with KJP already have made a PS3 exclusive game, they could have gone into Peace Walker with alot of knowledge and made something better than MGS4 (which would be amazing)
oh well.....

Of course thats a situation too where a Boss wouldnt know you cut corners, just praises you for getting somewhere or getting so much done so fast.

But I think MGS:PW Will get quite the number of buyers... or a million pirates... lol.

someone actually liked mgs2 best?
why?
apart from the tanker area in the beginning where you pay as snake, the game has super boring envirioments, orange greyish stuff.
the boss fights didn't have the excitement the original has.
altough i liked the emo stuff when it came out, i tried paying it recently and jesus christ it just doesn't make sense, i dunno it feels kinda...well fake
don't get me wrong it was a good game and i never found raiden that much of a *****.
care to explain why?
