Loco Roco's Kouno: PSP needs more titles and I have around six |
Ó
"We need to make more new games for PSP, not just sequels. We have to increase the number of casual games, games that Loco Roco players will want to play. There are too many sequels for PSP, only sequels, so I want to make a new game for PSP," Kouno told online gaming site Games Industry.
The developer wouldn't reveal though anything about this new title. But he did mention that he actually has around six new ideas and that he is still considering whether to make them for the handheld or PlayStation 3 (PS3). Whatever happens, fans can be assured that these games will be exclusive to Sony's gaming systems. He added,
I have many ideas, but I can't make them all because I am only one person. I have five or six new game ideas either for PSP or PS3, but I actually want to make them for PSP - for the people who bought Loco Roco, or bought a PSP because of LocoRoco, and like casual games.
When asked whether Loco Roco will be appearing on the PS3 in the future, Tsutomu Kouno answered, "I can't really say anything official right now, but... As you'd expect."

Woot first to read this un interesting news
sorry, that's my point of view, I can't imagine that the guy who made loco roco is making a good game (and he claims thta he has 6 ideas! :S)
Why does Loco Roco sound like Yoko Ono?
I have 7 ideas - giz a job making games: 1. Stupic bouncing coloured balls 2. Stupid bouncing coloured squares 3. Stupid bouncing coloured hexagons 4. Stupid bouncing coloured cubes 5. Stupid bouncing coloured peanuts 6. Stupid bouncing coloured bacon packets 7. Stupid bouncing coloured potatoes. Wait, I've just had an 8th: 8. Stupid bouncing coloured balls with enhanced gameplay.
I'm actually quite intrigued with that "Stupid bouncing coloured peanuts" bit. :D
'as you'd expect' so that's a 'no' due to the fact that loco roco bombed on the psp... i rather enjoyed playing loco roco... but it was 1 dimensional and over very quickly... not value for money (also i know it was actually in 2 dimensions)
