High Impact Games Design Director Lesley Mathieson was recently interviewed about the PlayStation Portable exclusive Secret Agent Clank. Among the many things discussed was the game's lack of multiplayer component.

"ClankÂ’s gameplay is radically different from what it was in the Ratchet & Clank series so we really needed to focus on it being a single player game. Maybe in future installments we can include multiplayer," explained Mathieson.

After that, the interview shifted to other characters that will be appearing in the game. Mathieson confirmed that Giant Clank will be appearing in the game and that the imprisoned Ratchet is going to be playable.

Aside from the already mentioned, the design director also talked about Quark and his direct affect on gameplay. Accordingly, Quark has the penchant for telling tall stories and these tales can be relived by the gamers as well.

In the end, Lesley Mathieson said that there's a chance that Clank will eventually branch off to its own game franchise depending on the reaction of fans to this game.
