Are game developers truely spending 95% of their budgets just making games now a days to have pretty screenshots from the money spend of graphics and generate lots of hype with nice looking trailers and television ads and just the little 5% on some quick made plans on gameplay and or a story? I'm sure you guys would disagree but with the heavy price tag on this game, in my opinion its not worth it. And not just this game but many other games from many other developers.
I always seen the most awsome spectakular trailers, hear of big name characters to see in the game, see mountains of screenshots before release, and read lots of hyped up previews for the games, but after you willing put forth all your cash... You feel as if thats all you paid for... When will games start to feel like they are worth the price? When will my faith be restored in you guys as developers.

1) What are your views on abortion? (Nah, don't include this, it was a joke in case it's not blatant enough

2) What's you stance on homebrew; do you feel that all homebrew is bad, or homebrew is good to a certain extent?
3) Do you enjoy developing for the PSP, or is PS2 a more desirable platform to make games for?
4) What made you give Daxter his own game, rather than Jak? Seeing as Jak was more of the front man, it would seem more appropriate to give him the game rather than Daxter. I do however like the approach you took.
I guess that's all. thanks is advance if these get added.

2.) Is it true that teeth make the man?

Why is the main part of the game fighting bugs?
Why does daxter wait 2 years to go help Jax out?
If you had the chance to change anything in the game, what would it be?

It would be awesome if you guys could create a more mature action/adventure game or even an RPG with this engine. Are you guys currently working on another PSP game or any other game for any specific system?!

1. Sequel?
2. Can you give us any information on this "Jak & Daxter: The New Frontier" or whatever, like what system, style, universe, possible time travel throughout the J&D world using the rifts?
3. Judging by screen shots, Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters looks a lot worse than Daxter (graphically obviously), do you have any comments on this?
4. Are you making any more games at all right now?

What kind of original game do you think could have crossover success on the PSP.

actually, you know, i want to know if developers get fed up with the cynical manner in which men in suits seem to force games to be stupid genre mish-mashes. isn't it a pain in the arse to come up with a good idea and have some know-nothing gimp pervert it?
here's another one, do developers hate ea as much as consumers?
can we see a good bond license game please?
do you think linux on ps3 is a good idea?
wiimote or ds3?
fw 1.5 or 2.7?
does malenfant not mean sick child?
thanks.

Are the voices in the game like you wanted them to be or did the voice talent give them their own touch?
Why did you choose to make Jak a mute again?
What is your opinion on the games in general available on the psp right now?
Are your plans on PSP to stick with existing franchises or are you guys going to create something new specially made for the psp?

Many people have download ISOs of a game because it has been the only way to run the software.
Would you agree that by this move Sony is infact encorageing piracy.

First of all, I would like to greet you warmly from Poland - good job folks!
Let me say that I disagree with numberss 08 and 18 - I really liked Daxter. Graphical excellence is one thing, but giving the game a sense of style is other thing. I really liked the main character - and it was one of the main reasons for me to finally buy a game. I also loved the Matrix minigame (Neo-Daxter gets me every time) and I still play it every now and then. All the little touches (Daxter taking kung-fu stance while he's bored, the way he places himself to sleep) all contribute to general impression. The train tunnels level was also amazing - to give this sense of gloomy industrial feeling on such a little screen is an achievement. Plus, technically there is nothing to complain about - in Burnout Revenge there is a lot of moving or disappearing triangles, textures are not too great in many places, and even though the game is real fun, this spoils the experience a little bit. No such thing with Daxter - together with Syphon Filter these are two best-looking games on the system. So congratulations on a job well done.
And now, for the questions :
1. I was about to ask the same question as kvadair (no. 14), namely if the firmware requirements are forced upon you by Sony or are your choice due to some or other reasons (if so, what reasons?), but it is already there.
Still, I would like to tell you that even though I have firmware 1.50 and am unable to play Daxter from UMD, I have bought the original in order to show my appreciation for your work. I am forced to play using ISO image from the memory card for now, but I actually DO own the game.
2. How did you actually manage to avoid the long loading times that are a nightmare in some other games? Being a (very mediocre) developer, I would hazard a guess, that between each section there are some transitions (elevator ride, tunnel, looong staircase etc.), so the actual job gets done there (deleting previous section's objects, instantiating new ones). Still, is this process very continuous or more granular (if it is not a secret, of course)?
2.5. This is actually a little technical curiosity on my part - do you actually compress the level (and/or other) data 'on the flight' to fit into 32Mb of system memory, or do you just very carefully manage your objects and tailor the levels not to contain too many entities/level data at once?
3. Does any of Daxter's creators own a cat? I know this sounds silly, but some of the mimics and behaviour of our favourite ottsel do look very similar to those I observe on the daily basis in my cat. He doesn't talk, though. But if he did, he probably would be boasting shamelessly about his successes, just like Daxter.
4. I have heard quite a lot of people say that Daxter looks like (or simply is) a meerkat (think Timon from Lion King) or a squirrel, any comments on that?
5. I have never before played any of 'Jak and Daxter' games (although now I am tempted to), can you tell me why did it took Daxter two years two help Jak?
6. Are there any chances of another Daxter (or Jak and Daxter) game on PSP? If not, then what are your current projects?
7. Did the effort put into game repayed? It often happens that some games (or software or equipment) that set a new standard for the industry do not necessarily prove beneficial to their creators. So without entering too much into details (obviously), did it work out?
8. General remark - you should think about something better for the multiplayer. I know it is not as easy as it sounds, but these bug duels were... well, honestly, rather mediocre. If your game has flaws, this is one of them.
9. Another remark - consider it a tip, if you like. I think that some demo of your product would be a good thing. So maybe next time you create something, you could actually make a brief demo so that people can have a peek at the game and test it before buying (like shareware games in the old times).
I wish you lot of good luck in your future projects and if I recall any other questions, I
