Future games from Hideo Kojima, Toshihiro Nagoshi |
Ó
Is it me, or is Kojima-san recycling statements? Well, if he wants to keep things under wraps for now, then by all means, he can say the same thing over and over every time Famitsu publishes an interview with him.In the latest issue of the Japanese magazine, they ran a discussion between Hideo Kojima of the Metal Gear series and Toshihiro Nagoshi of Yakuza fame. When Nagoshi asked what Kojima was currently working on, he mentioned the following, this according to IGN's translations:
- that he's working on three or four games (which is surprising because last we heard, he was working on just two)
- one of the three or four games is one which he's designing himself and that it could be "released quickly," meaning, probably some time this year
- speaking of which, he also expects 2009 to be an important year for them (something he already said just previously)
- one of the currently-in-production titles won't be released outside of Japan
On the flipside, when Kojima asked the same question to Nagoshi, the Yakuza creator revealed that aside from Yakuza 3 which will be released in Japan this February, he also has an unannounced title which is yet to be revealed some time this year.

did this guy make MGS without knowing english?
Ryan Payton helped out with localization.
not everyone speaks english. heck, they don't even buy 360's over there. when i went to japan, i was staring at shelves full of Gears and Resistance copies. and when i looked over the other side, Star Ocean and MGS4 are out of stock. yes. i couldn't blame them.
hes even more amazing for making such a compelling storyline thats strictly about AMERICA's government.
hes basically genius
Thats Kojima-sama to you mister!
If anybody can claim to take on the world, Kojima can.
"did joo rike it?"- is that suppose to be a joke? that is bloody offensive....bloody a******
Isn't it a suprise? there countless people that writes stories about (insert some random place from asia) and act like they're born in that place?
There are too many of those *****s, once I had some muslim guy who was trying to teach me how to use chopsticks... I mean THAT's a WTF? moment..
are you pertaining to me? well, fortunately i was BORN in japan, so there you go. there's nothing wrong with a muslim trying to teach how to use chopsticks. what's wroing is priests trying to lecture people about sexual harassment. now that's a WTF moment right there.
rofl totally agree its the best time for "WTF" rofl
is the name of the current game they are both doing right now...
lol jk...
just wishing he'd produce another zone of enders game...just a wet dream tho'...
@ roddollente
It was just a example (which really happened) and I'm not telling that a Muslim teaching me how to use chopsticks is wrong. But he did bull***** me, I'm being Chinese for 'bout 17 years (@ that moment, now 21) and just some random guy ("classmate" 17 yo) drops by and kinda teaching me how to be a Chinese.
And I know his birth place doesn't make any connections with China.
It's like a son teaches dad how to drive... (And assuming that the dad is a professional racer)
