Monster Hunter Freedom Unite isn't even out in other regions yet and Capcom's already planning to make another Monster Hunter game for Japan. They always get the good stuff first, dammit. Anyway. This news comes from Capcom's Keiji Inafune.
Inafune didn't mention any specifics, but he says he didn't want to disappoint PSP owners who are expecting a new game. It sounds like plans for the game is still sketchy though - he's not even sure whether it should be called 3rd. Well it would be confusing with Monster Hunter Tri coming out for the Wii.
He also expects that the game won't be released for a long time yet, but at least we know he has no plans of letting go of the series. And with the monstrous sales the game's been making, he'd be crazy to.

If they don't develop a MH for PS3 ( and 360 for the western market) soon, they loose a HUGE market. They even had one for PS2 with online mode, so why not PS3?

Can't wait for that either. Hopefully i'll be able to squeeze it in between Brawl and Kart sessions.
