Wormz race

We here at QJ encourage every bit of homebrew update, no matter how simple it looks and how easy the overall gameplay is. It doesn't mean we salute mediocrity, rather it's all made to give our aspiring coders a li'l nudge forward. Who knows, we might be rearing a future Fanjita, Edison Carter, zx-81 and the rest of the big-time coders out there. Well if zion keeps it up, this nudge might indeed take him places.

With projects like Z-mix, Future Resurrection, and Snake tucked under his belt, Zion is becoming one of the more familiar names around here. With the release of his Lua Wormz spin-off, Wormz-Race v1.0, he may have just inched closer to that ultimate goal of his. According to the creator himself, it only took him 15 minutes to make this game so it's quite understandable how simple the overall lua project is.

This isn't something we can recommend to those who are looking for a real challenge, but we certainly urge you to try it just for the sake of having fun. Basically, the goal of the game is to beat the other worm in a crawling contest - faster worm wins. If you try this you can't lose - literally - so it's a plus to people who are desperate for a morale boost. I gave the other worm a full two-second advantage and I still managed to snatch the checkered flag (well in this case, dotted lines) from it. Zion said he may release updates in the future, so a few words from you is definitely welcome.

Yeah #6 you tell em!!! I reckon this is a great effort. And stop dissing lua. C is friggin hard to learn, and Lua provides similary functionality without the years-worth of training...
