Wolfenstein 3D v4.8: Sound and graphics improvements, cheat mode added |

Zack dropped us a line earlier to announce that version 4.8 of the Wolfenstein 3D port for the PSP is now available for download. From the looks of it, the dev's been working overtime to ensure our next Nazi pwning sessions go unhindered, and even faster.This new build introduces a boatload of changes and improvements, starting with the addition of VSync, which should smooth out the game's graphics and minimize the ghosting experienced in previous builds. Quick saves and cheat support have also been added. Here are the rest of the details of this homebrew game's latest changelog:
- Fixed Music. Only slight discrepancy in-game. Now proper Tempo too.
- Fixed Sounds. Guards voices are now normal pitch and tempo.
- Fixed Guards voices not finishing alert call & Death shout. They now say the full alert shout and full death shout sounds.
- Fixed bug in game loader where it wouldn't start if you had your game cpu speed set to 333mhz in xmb.
- Added Vsync. Game graphics are a lot smoother now, with a lot less ghosting.
- Added ability to change weapons in-game.
- Fixed crackling sound when pressing the door open button. Now doesn't crackle at all.
- Added ability to change between either Analog or Dpad for movement in-game.
- Added in-game quick save & quick load.
- Added cheat support. These must be done in-game by holding set buttons. (see cheats.txt for list of cheats)
- Fixed bug in gameloader where you sometimes couldn't hear gunshot sound on game select.
- Fixed bug in gameloader that made it sometimes start the wrong game.
- Slight Code clean-up.

I'd still like to see the title music set to proper speed, but that's hardly the first thing worth complaining about.
problems, help!!!
Ok, i have ALL spear of destinys and Wolfensteins, well when i start the game, the menu shows up, and i press on the FULL version of wolfenstein, and it plays, but it only has the 1st chapter, when it was working in the older version...
IT is the floppy edition, and it runs fine. also, the sound is extremly blocky, and no cheats:|

Ok i just found out thatthe version I have is the CD version(my friend gave it to me in files:P). So i put it in the CD folder, i booted it and it came up with error 80010002, WTF? then i tried booting the EBOOT.PBP using System.runeboot() from LUAplayerHM and it booted with all chapters, but the menu wont boot it at all
is there something I did wrong???
Hi.
The problem your having is not following the instructions right. Sorry If I made them unclear.
Your supposed to take the eboot out of the cd folder and place it in the Wolf_3D_(F) folder. And keep your files in that folder too.
After you do that it will work for you. About the loader, it works if you select wolf3d full straight away, however the loader gets confused sometimes and starts the wrong game. I thought I fixed it but obviously not. Will be fixed for good in v4.8
