So far, we've seen the likes of Doom and even Quake make it to the PSP thanks to the efforts of some very enterprising homebrew developers. Now if those titles haven't whetted your classic FPS appetite yet, get ready for Zack's release of Wolfenstein 3D v3.0.

As its name implies this homebrew game is a PSP port of id Software's Wolfenstein 3D FPS from 1992. This release is based on developer HardHat's Wolf3D port v2.0, with Zack's build carrying full PSP Slim support and sound. As for the rest of this homebrew's features (quoting Zack's release thread):
  • Full Sound Support
  • Full Music Support
  • Full Screen Support (as default, can be enlarged more however)
  • Full Speed
  • Runs at 222mhz (saves your battery)
  • PSP Slim Support
  • PSP Phat Support
  • Configurable Controls (See Read Me!)
Full details on installing and running Wolfenstein 3D v3.0 on your PSP are available in the file bundle's readme. Zack notes that future updates for this game will depend heavily on player reception. Enjoy the download, and be sure to contact Zack in case you run into any problems, or are interested in sending your feedback via the source link below.
