Vexed v1.1 for PSP released |
Ó

Cancan has created a homebrew port of the game "vexed" in Lua. The game Vexed "is a puzzle game in which your goal is to move similar blocks together, which causes them to disappear. Blocks can be moved either to the left or to the right. When there is no block under the current block, the block falls down. Once all the blocks are gone, you've solved the level and you're presented with a new level to solve." Vexed was originally created by James McCombe for the Palm OS.
I've never played Vexed before, but it's really good. With 19 level packs and 3 skins included, you won't get bored of this game easily. Vexed for the PSP comes in 3 formats, for 1.0, 1.5, and for Lua Player.
Here's whats new in this version:
- When a block is selected the cursor changed from black to red
- Added music and sounds (press Select to activate/deactivate it)
- Added difficulty level (press Select to select between easy and hard)
- When selecting difficulty easy; you can browse through all the available levels of a level pack
- Without having complete the previous ones.
- When selecting difficulty hard; you can only access the next level when the current one is complete
- When changing level pack, the program will jump directly to the first level not solved
- Improved the graphics on all the themes

Comments
old as anything
I've decided that anyone who posts comments such as "This is old" is just as likely to say "Mine's bigger than yours" because that's all it is - a pissing contest. 2 days old, which makes it unpostable? Grow up.
it would be so cool if the PSP had a terminal window, you know, to directly tell the psp what to do. Also you could browse the PSP's internal and hidden files. That would be AWESOME!
This game is really nice, I like it!
1.5 works for eloader (not sure 1.1 does though) just to let you guys know. great game btw=)
Thanks for the heads up. Was wondering which one to download. ;)
Why does it need flash access anyway? Cool homebrew anyway.
