TIFF Pong v0.2 Now Available |
Ó
PSP3D coders Percival and Robert A. have just released the follow-up to their PSP homebrew TIFF Pong. Now at v0.2, the improvements of this version from v0.1 includes: - AI for 2.7-2.8 fixed (single player mode).
- Easy exit method fixed (no more hard resets).
- Code optimized and better stability.
To install the game, just copy the "Pong" folder and add it into your "Photo" folder in your memory stick. Entering the "Pong" folder will automatically start the game. In the meantime, an alternative way of starting the game would be to highlight the "Pong" folder in the "Photo" menu of your memory stick and then pressing "Start" to begin a slideshow.

FIRST
ive known about this for 1 day took long enough
Hmm, weird, cant get it to work, tetris and pong v1 works fine. Start it, and nothing happens
I want to try this out. Does it work with Devhook?
i dont see any difference except for if you hit select and then triangle if goes back to the game. no ai, or shut down system
is there a pong homebrew for 1.5? I want pong. I want to be able to play pong on my psp.
Not tried yet, but seems excellent, my favorite game :) ! @6: you can use the Intellivision port (pspint), and play original pong like games :D Zx
It works fine, and now it has AI and can be exited without performing a hard reset (Start, Then Select, Then X) For the next version, I want a choice between 1 or 2 player, as 2 player is quite fun if you only have 1 PSP with 2 mates
i love u guy's noobz team o man if that eloader come's out ill be happy as hell woooooooo!!!!! were one step closer to it man i can almost fell it lol
This wasn't the Noobz team's work. It was PSP3D's. But I'm sure the Noobz team appreciates the support anyways :P
My 2.80 psp just switches itself off when I try to run this or Tetris. Bah.
great, now u need to make a emu or eloader for 2.0-2.8
My friend has a 1 50 and im stuck with 2.80. hes bragging he has homebrew and it f***ing pisses me off!!! make a ELOADER, PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
eloaeder is allready being made
Please be aware (as was hopefully made clear in the original release post) that the point of releasing the mini-SDK was because full eLoader support on 2.80 is likely to be a long time. 2.70/2.71 users are likely to get something sooner - that's just their reward for having the sense not to upgrade as soon as they say a shiny new demo dangled in front of them.
i put the pong file into the photo folder but it shows nothing on my psp
can some help me how to get pong wen i put the pong file ontothe photo and then i go on photos and it doesnt show
the same thing happens to me, ive downloaded the file and start my psp and go to photo but nothing happens. i think i should try putting it in the psp photo folder, what do you think?
i put it onto the photo folder but it doesnt show
Read the damn readme, noobs..
there is no read me
there is a readme
where
yes there is a readme u dumb *****s.
see this pic http://img104.imageshack.us/img104/411/naamloossc9.jpg
wat is that winrar and how do i get it
Google for winrar and download PONG from this site *the link in this post*
oooh german windows
It is Dutch xD
damn those two look alike
If you still can't understand this. 1) Download Pong from this news post. 2) Extract the file, use winrar or just the standard program in windows xp 3) Read the readme 4) Connect your psp 5) go to PSP>PHOTO 6) Copy the extracted pong directory to PSP>PHOTO 7) rename pong to PONG *that means in caps* 8) remove your psp from the computer 9) start your psp 10) go to photo 11) press the triangle 12) choose Dia Show or how it called in english
thnx people it works
Ok, the v0.2 is THE SAME AS v0.1 the name is the same and their is NO AI! i have downloaded the v0.2 3 times now and its the SAME!!! ZOMGWTFTIBS!!
@ 33: No. You are wrong. The new version kicks ass. Delete the old pong off your MS and recopy the new one fresh.
When they discovered the GTA exploit they were focusing on improve the 2.0 loader and now that 2.6 has kernel, they're focusing on 2.71 and 2.8 loader But what about people that don't want to downgrade and want kernel loader? anywho, Great job guys, it's good to see people caring about 2.8 PSP's (remembers me when having 2.6 was like that)
I did and it didnt work....
there is a new game called tron avaliable at psp3d.com
azz hole we r wating 4 fast loder cris we won't to play iso lo0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o00oo00l
TRIED EVERYTHING! THIS IS STUPID IT DOESNT EVEN WORK. I DON EVERYTHING YOU GUYS SAID AND ALL IT DOES IS FREEZE IT UP THEN IT SWITCHES ITSELF OFF THEN WHEN I TRY 2 TURN IT BACK ON THE SCREEN FLASHED THEN TURNED OFF AGAIN THEN TRIED AGAIN, NOTHING CAME UP JUST THE AMBER LIGHT BUT NOW MY PSP HAS STARTED UP AGAIN IM TAKING IT OFF ASAP!!!
ok i alrdy had v.1 of tetris.. so v.2 came out so i decided to put it in my photo folder also... but when i d/l it, it still say v.1 and has all the same things... i have 2 separate folders for pong.. 1 called pong and the other called pong.V2.. i click on v2 ( the 1 i just recently d/l ) and its the same -.- is there a mistake in the link?
could someone send me the file at aldrnv@hotmail.com...i dont have winrar and i'm not allowed to install anything |"-_-| ....just wanna try it out....tnx appreciate ur help
to 4. ยป Cool I want to try this out. Does it work with Devhook? by Fr@nkie, at Sep 15, 2006 at 01:49AM i don't think devhook works on firmware 2.70 and 2.80 just put the file in the photo folder
anybody w/ winrar??? pls... =(
if when u try and start pong or tetris and it just shuts off ur psp try hitting start on the folder instead of X it worked for me now it works every time for me
WHO THE ***** CARES. Efforts should be focused on 2.80 EMULATION not homebrew for the *****ING LOSERS who upgrrade
psp-hacks says new devhook is going to be released by booster in the next month. if u dont beleive me look ant the website psp-hacks.com
Efforts will be focussed wherever the developers feel would be most interesting to work with. We do this for fun, not for you. If you don't like the order in which things are done, feel free to do it yourself. If you understood how things work around here, you'd realise that the people responsible for running 2.8 on devhook are not the same as the people writing Pong.
i got to beta test dis... it was ok but ai too hard
what hapeens if i connect my psp with the pong and tretris games in to my xbox360
Hey is there a way to port games from kxploit to tiff?
look what i found, another homebrew game on psp! http://youtube.com/watch?v=J5Zu1hoHzTQ
FANJITA I DONT CARE WHAT YOU SAY!!1!1!! We impatient morons who upgraded our psp's to 2.8 need the eLoader cause our mommy's won't let us use emulators on our busted up sh*t computers!!1!1!! WAH!!!1!1!!1!...Seriously though, good luck with the eLoader!
ok, so i extracted it with winrar, and put the "pong" folder in my PSP>PHOTO section, but everytime i go to the photo on my psp, it freezes up, even before i can get to the game. Either that or pong justs starts up automically, without giving me time to look at my photos. Can someone help me with this?
LAST!!! YEA!!!
Im last...
Im last now ahahahha
i enter the slide show and the screen goes white and that is it
rather than clicking slideshow wait for the images to load and then press start:)
also for people that still have problems. v2 is ai. you CANNOT have 2 pong folders on your psp at the same time! renaming the pong folder will cause it to malfunction in several ways. one being autostart.
@40 The tiff file points to /psp/photo/pong/pong.bin That is why it loads the first version.
I'M ABOUT TO TAKE A FAT S.H.I.T AND VIDEO TAPE ME WIPING MY ASS WITH MY PSP AND THEN THROWING IT IN THE TRASH. I WILL POST IT ON U-TUBE IN THE NEXT FEW DAYS..................... If you want to know why... THE GRAPHICS SUCK!
Great job guys.. Really appreciate the hard work!
When i go to download it it gives me a file, how do i get a folder?
OK, first off, you spelled youtube wrong, d*ckhead. Then, you complained that the psp's graphics suck. If you feel that way, why don't you go buy a ds and get any of their "3D" games. Now THOSE are sucky graphics! Finally, if you're gonna use your psp to wipe your fat @S$, then you just wasted $200+ and your time. PS: We don't need to hear about your crapping habits, so stop posting them.
