TetriAbetes v1.39 - added left rotation feature, various bug fixes |
Ó
Homebrew developer dragula96 decided to drop by the QJ.NET forums and informed us that a new build for the Tetris-like PSP homebrew game, TetriAbetes, was finally released and is now available for download.
Just as the developer promised, a counterclockwise rotation for the blocks has finally been included in this latest build (just press the X button to rotate to the left). Also, a host of bug fixes were also implemented taking care of the many glitches found in the previous versions.
Here's a list of all the updates and bug fixes added since our last coverage of the homebrew game:
- Fixed a bug with ghost where it would appear above piece if piece was right under some blocks.
- Fixed Audio Loop Time Delay, music should loop after music ends and not right before.
- Fixed High Score bug, where High Score would not load the last Digit.
- Adjusted soft drop delays(the piece dropped to fast).
- Fixed Hard drop points added, now hard drop will give you 2 points for every square based on how far up you drop it.
- Adjusted Drop Delay on Piece(it was dropping to slow at start up).
- Adjusted delay for left/right auto repeat(just slightly-it was to fast).
- Adjusted Ghost transparency level(made it less visible for less confusion).
- Added Rotate Left Function(yes finally, press x to rotate left)
- Fixed a bug where level 10 was broken
- Removed sound event of when piece drops down(it gets annoying at higher levels).
- Adjusted Hard drop delay to 0.5 second(as requested by jungle-cat).
We hope you enjoy this great download from dragula96. If you're interested in discussing the game with the developer, you can visit the PSP Development forum, accessible through the link we've provided below.

A left rotate button was just NOW implemented?? Dude should hang out more at the Tetris Concept forums...
i had more important things to work on then left rotation. I'm right handed so i didn't need it anyway. :p
i can't download anything from QJ, the download page just reloads... anybody else having this problem?
As i said, great game. And now for the request. When you soft drop a piece, please give a delay the length of how long it takes to drop 1 row (on each respective level) before it locks into place. In my eyes that would upgrade this game from Great to Freaking Sweet.
When you have a piece against either side you can't usually spin it freely. I noticed this particularly with the T piece.
