Saint-Dean is proud to share with the homebrew community his first ever Lua, the Super Mario Kartin v0.1. But of course, he does admit that all credit belongs to Mast3r_ShAk3 for the original code.

The game is actually pretty simple: all you have to do is use your arrow keys to move around. The goal of the game is to collect all the Ps while dodging the red cars. Indicated at the upper right corner of your screen is the level you are in, and as the level gets more advanced, the red cars zoom past you faster, until they're pretty much a blur. But still, you have to stick with the program and dodge them as fast as you can. The other mode would be the Reverse mode where all the controls are backwards. It is entirely confusing, but I guess that's part of the challenge.

To install, all you have to do is put the Super Mario Kartin' folder in your Lua player, and you're all set to go. The controls are also really easy as you only need the Analog to move left or right, while the Arrow keys move you in all directions. To Quit, just press Start, while the X button allows you to pause the game.

So, congratulations to Saint-Dean for this first Lua attempt, and of course, proper credit goes to MaSt3r_ShAk3.

Enjoy!

This has got to be one of the worst homebrew games in homebrew history...

...But don't get discouraged Saint-Dean, just give it a bit more work.
