Star Wars Iris Mod Alpha v0.1

Stewie2280 and PSPdemon have released v0.1 of their Star Wars Iris mod. This mod features many star wars characters including Darth Vader, Darth Maul, and Boba Fett. The map is the Death Star leading to a hangar. This release is an early alpha, and there are a few bugs such as map and character skin distortion. Overall this is a promising release along with other Iris mods such as Halo for the PSP, and more skins and maps will be released as add-on packs.

PS: Don't forget to look for the Easter egg in the map!

A huge fan of the first Iris, I believe that this is the first update of Iris in like years!(Very excaggerated, but true. I thought that Iris was infront of monkey64 on the priority list. Guess i was wrong >:(... )

Copy the 'Iris' folder to the root of the memory stick. That will solve your problemo.

I think it needs ALOT of work it's fun and all but it gets boring. No offense or anything I love the game and all but I think iris has alot of potential. And I can never kill anybody I just die in like 3 seconds because they cant stop attacking. I can only get like 1 shot of before I die. Needs improvement.





Oh P.S. I found the easter egg. ;) Too easy.

don't get me wrong, Iris PSP and all of its mods are amazing. I mean, this is a HOMEBREW GAME!!



The one gripe i have about this is compatibility with original Iris. All i did was replace the Iris folder, no need for a new eboot, and it over-wrote some of the textures of other maps, effectively screwing their appearances up. Characters could stay, but i got rid of that new map and its textures so that all the original maps worked properly.



So, on the next release, plz rename some of those textures and make it completely compatible with the rest of Iris
