Any fans of Spongebob here? Yeah, that yellow, squarepants-wearing sponge that borders on being annoying at times? Regardless of anyone's view on that Nickelodeon character, though, we're pretty sure that you will begin liking her him after we told you that rubixcube6 has just incorporated Spongebob into the amazing homebrew game Gunnar Hero.
In case you are not familiar with Gunnar Hero, it was developed by homebrew developer HardHat, and the game itself was inspired by the video game Guitar Hero. The original game is currently in v0.13 and one known mod for it is the Light Punk mod, which features Batman and Ozzy Osbourne.
Anyway, as we've mentioned, Gunnar Hero Spongebob mod v0.1 is a mod that involves, well, Spongebob Squarepants. It was developed by coder rubixcube6 and according to this dev, Spongebob here plays the guitar. On the other hand, Squidward and Patrick play the piano and drums respectively. Aside from these characters, the over all texture of Gunnar Hero has also been changed.

Wow today must be my lucky day, because this is the second time first!. This mod looks awesome, I just never got the time to try out Gunnar Hero. i will take the time to use it now! Haha First Again! EAT IT!
what was ever wrong with the gfx that i originally done for this game humm.

I'm first registered. Beat that. Anyway, if someone could make a Gundam/any other mod for this game, that would be awsome. I will try but can't garantee I will be successful. Any Ideas on what kind of mod I should make? or try?
The original game is probably good, but just because Spongebob's on it now means that the Spongebob version is instantly bad. If there was a contest for dumbest shows on television Spogenbob would beat Jerry Springer, only because Springer can actually be funny from time to time.

each homebrew developer needs to be credited because of the effort they put in their craft. you are one of those keeping the homebrew scene vibrant and alive. keep up the good work!
this is definitely in spite of a comment i remember reading in the comments on the official release someone said "watch, itll be a week till someone releases a mod with spongebob characters." i think it was this game, or something else, but i lol'd
