Quick Update on Hackers vs Sony Homebrew Game |

A physical manifestation of a cumulative angst of every homebrew maker towards their biggest arch nemesis, Sony, has been very well directed in this game. When Hackers vs Sony, first came into the limelight a few days ago, not a few were as amused as I was when they tried the game. Still, some just dismiss it as just another one of those games.
If you take the carefree nature of the storyline in stride, you'd find the whole thing quite comical. I mean come on, with weapons like the Sonylight, mph 2.0 downgrader and dark_alex 2.5 and 2.6 downgrader, taking the story seriously would only cause you wrinkles. Creator DreaDNoughT wrote:

no you can actually win... but only if you kill enough (20) enemies before the time runs out... and i have also rewritten the storyline, so it looks a bit nicer, and i have changed the loosing text looks cooler now..."

Now that we've come passed that, here are my suggestions. I like the glowing effect on the characters and all, but I'd keep that to a minimum, most especially for the hero. I'd also up the color a bit, just for the hero to pop out of the screen.
The biggest news about this homebrew is that- drum roll- you can actually win now. As mentioned on his letter, all you have to do to go deeper within the Sony HQ is to finish off 20 enemies in a given amount of time. Just take note on the health bar. you can take some hits, but not all of them. And you wouldn't want to get flashed. Trust me.

Go get those Sony glowsticks boys!

Sony makes new firmware to combat Pircay, its obvious, why the hell did 2.0 come out... Gee I Suppose it was for the browser... Seriously the idea seems funny when u first read it, but when you think about it and look at the PSP sitting right next to you, you cant help but think, thank god Sony made this wiked handheld device....

I hope everyone out there realizes that even though they are techinally looked down upon by us for doing so, Sony has just as much right to protect their own company from what they feel contributes to "piracy" just as much as we have every right to defy them and develop homebrew, create emulators, and hack PSP's.
So... the PSP "hackers" are all pissed off at Sony becuase they feel Sony is combating our right to modify the software, but yet we can still be total hypocrites and act like they don't have the right to defend their own company from what they feel is doing it harm.
As long as homebrew exists, there are people that are STILL going to use illegal roms and ISO loaders. It's stupid and naieve to think that many people won't when given the opportunity. So Sony is basically defending their rights, just as much as hackers are defending their rights. Neither side really has one definiate winnable argument over either side as they both are protecting what they precieve on each of their ends as what they believe their rights are.
Consumers DO have the right to mod hardware. But companies have just as much right to have a problem with it for their own reasons.
But games like this where one "takes up arms against teh omg evil Sony" is ridiculous, purile, hypocritical, childish garbage. Consumers have rights, and companies have their rights too. Just becuase Sony is trying to enforce their rights, you can combat them and their veiwpoint well enough by modding your hardware the way you see fit. But Sony has a right to try and protect themselves.
I mean hell... just becuase they aren't able to do it, and the homebrewers and hackers keep being victorious over Sony's locks is no reason to actually make ridiculous damn games like this.
Besides... we all ended up modding the hardware with downgraders, devhooks, and modchips, didn't we? So, we pretty much beat them, anyway. But they aren't "Evil" just becuase they stick up for themselves, too. We won. Isn't that enough for you ingrates?
Besides... if Sony didn't come out with this sh*t in the first place, you'd have no hardware to hack in the first damn place! Now, isn't that a fact?
So, what it seems to me, is that everyone should quit whining and bashing everything Sony does just becuase sony disagrees with the hackers and the hackers disagree with Sony. Both sides have their viewpoint on homebrew and neither side is 100% in the clear either.
So all games like this rdo is dillute commen sense, and further promote a mindset of ignorance.
You modded the PSP. Awesome. Good for you. BE HAPPY WITH THAT.
