PSPTetris for the PSP - Image 1Some argue that classics never go out of style. PSP homebrew developer teacake probably feels the same way after he released PSPTetris (3D). This is teacake's first PSP game, and it's looking pretty good.

The developer mentioned that the game is "almost in 3D" since it is based on the cube sample of the PSP Software Development Kit (SDK). According to teacake, the application still doesn't have sound, level selection, or additional game modes, but he plans on adding these in future releases.

Those who plan on using the application code as a basis for their work should go over the license code included with the program to avoid any problems. Be sure to go over the readme before doing anything since it has the installation instructions as well as the controls of the game. That said, download the game and try it out.

» cool

I don't understand why anyone would use 3d funtions where it looks 2d and 2d can be used... other than framerate (but tetris is supposed to be choppy, isn't it?)

Well, nice job teacake! I hope to see more of your programming in the future. And soon I might release some homebrews i have been working on....

That would be great Nicko01. It's always nice to see more people joining the PSP community.
