PSPOmok

Here's a quick little update for Highsight's "much cooler Tic-Tac-Toe from Japan." PSPOmok is now in 1.5 EBoot form. The "music sputtering" issue reported in the first release gas also been cleaned up. According to Highsight, it doesn't show up "until you put about 40ish pieces down."

Some music has also been added to the game, and you can add your own by adding a song to the "Songs" folder under the name "Song<number>.xm" (please note that the songs must be in .xm format).

PSPOmok also comes with four pre-made game pieces and one pre-made board, but Highsight encourages players to try and create their own game pieces and boards. To learn how, check out this previous QJ article on PSPOmok.

As usual, don't forget to check the readme file for more in-depth instructions.

Thanks

I know you tried hard to make this game and that is respectable, but Tic-Tac-Toe? If you can make a Monopoly game(I cant seem to run the already existant one, and it doesnt have AI) then I'll happily support you.

...

Don't mind those retards. Basically they will whinge and moan if something provided to them (for free I might add) isn't something to facilitate piracy.

Huh?

Well this is kind of off. First of all, Omok is the Korean version of this old Chinese game. The Japanese name would be Ninuki or something like that. Second of all, this is different from tic tac toe. It's not a 3 x 3 board, it's a 15 x 15 board. Instead of trying to line up 3 pieces it's five. There's additional rules to the game as well including a lot of strategy required to win. This really isn't just a simple child's game.... unless you're playing against a child.. I guess.
