PSPFlash Card

hardhat has just updated his homebrew game PSPFlash-Card. There's a lot more goodness in v0.2. Here's a small changelog:
  • The much-requested word wrapping of long definitions.
  • The ability to easily apply a variety of skins using a BG.BMP file.
  • Made the default flashcard.txt notepad friendly.
  • Improved formatting and positioning of the layout to be more consistent from screen to screen.
It still supports the traditional teal non-skinned mode. The file uploaded is for 1.0/2.X. If you want to use it on 1.5, you can KXploit it. Source also included

Japanese?

Nice! I'm still having a bit of trouble getting japanese characters to show up though :\ Someone suggested using a font with japanese support but it freezes..

Thanks

Great program, Hardhat. I asked for something similar on the forums a while back. This will be of great use (nothing like some lazy revision!) It would be good to be able to "save" the flashcards, so that when you start again, the program remembers which cards you had discarded. It'd be nice to be able to bring back discarded cards (all at once or individually), too. Oh, perhaps the ability to toggle whether the cards are randomised or not. Can't seem to go back to the PSP browser from this program; not sure if it's just me, though. Love it, though. Thanks again!

great!!!

i love this program, my grades on the last two tests really went up. I don't know how to contact you, but another request would be to have picture support, so if you wanted a flash card with a diagram you could have a picture pop up. thanks again, wonderful homebrew

Good App, very practical for a change

This program is fantastic. This is the type of homebrew i would like to see. Things that MAKE SENSE. I don't want to see things like, "PSP Paintball shooter PRO" written in LUA that is nothing but a top-down shooter, i want to see apps that are actually practical. This is practical. Also, you won't have japanese support for a VERY long time, as it is not the font that prevents this, but it is the fact that Japanese support requires certain encodings(utf-8, shift_jis, etc.) that are not provided in this flashcard program.

Japanese

Ahh thanks for that info! I guess i'd be better off hoping for JPG/image support! Then I could type up stuff in Japanese and take a screenshot and crop the image and use that as the question/answer instead!
